Pankaj JainNew Delhi, Jan. 23 -- In a major boost to super-specialty healthcare services in the national capital, the University of Delhi has granted the necessary academic and regulatory approval for the establishment and operationalisation of the Department of Medical Genetics at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) and the associated Lok Nayak Hospital.
It will focus on the diagnosis and management of genetic disorders across the entire human life cycle, ranging from fetal and neonatal stages to adult and geriatric care, with special emphasis on pediatric and rare diseases.
