New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- A Delhi court on January 31, took cognizance of a chargesheet filed by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) against real estate developer M3M India Pvt. Ltd., its directors Basant Bansal, Roop Bansal, and Pankaj Bansal, and several other entities.

The case arises from an FIR registered in March 2022 based on a complaint by MGF Developments Ltd. concerning a land exchange deal in Gurugram valued at approximately Rs. 450 crore.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Harshita Mishra, in an order passed on Monday, found sufficient grounds to proceed against the accused persons under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
