New Delhi, April 28 -- A Delhi court on Monday extended 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused, Tahawwur Rana's National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody by 12 days.

Rana was recently extradited from the United States.

NIA Special Judge, Chander Jit Singh, after hearing the plea on behalf of NIA through in-camera proceedings, passed an order, giving the central probe agency Rana's custody for 12 more days.

Rana, a Pakistani-born Canadian National, was brought before the Special Court after completion of his 18-day NIA custody.

The court had earlier dismissed Rana's application seeking permission to talk to his family members.
