New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devender Yadav on Wednesday wrote a letter to the Lieutenant Governor requesting the formation of a special task force to investigate cases of missing girls and women in the national capital.
In the letter, he cited police data indicating that 807 people, mostly children and women, were reported missing in the first 27 days of January 2026. He stated that this averages to 27 disappearances daily and represents a grave law and order concern.
