New Delhi, March 6 -- Delhi CM Rekha Gupta on Friday directed officials to speed up development works in the national capital and said there will be no shortage of funds for projects, but negligence will not be tolerated.

Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Delhi Secretariat, Rekha Gupta reviewed development projects worth about Rs 3,786 crore being implemented under the Chief Minister Development Fund (CMDF), the Delhi Village Development Board (DVDB) and the Trans-Yamuna Area Development Board (TYADB).

Gupta asked department heads to complete the tendering and documentation process by the end of March so that most of the works can be completed before the monsoon season.
