New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was presented the 50th Matri Shree Award on Wednesday for her remarkable contributions towards society.

The convener of the Matri Shree Award committee, Chetan Sharma, said the Chief Minister has made significant contributions to public service and social welfare, and for her efforts for the society, she has been presented the award.

Sharma presented a portrait of 'Bharat Mata' to the Chief Minister. Vivek Sharma from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Deepak Bajaj from Mahamayi Seva Nyas, and other award committee members were also present on the occasion.
