New Delhi/Jaipur, Feb. 15 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta offered prayers at the ancient Amarakh Mahadev Temple in Amberi, Udaipur, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri and sought blessings for the people of Delhi and the country.

In a post on X, Gupta said she had the privilege of performing prayers at the centuries-old Shri Amarakh Mahadev Temple, which she described as a living centre of devotion, penance and spiritual awakening dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Calling Maha Shivratri a sacred festival, the Chief Minister said the occasion symbolises the awakening of inner consciousness and spiritual strength.
