New Delhi, Jan. 12 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday distributed scholarships worth Rs 25.25 crore to 1,709 meritorious students under the Delhi Higher and Technical Education Assistance Scheme. The event was held at Thyagaraj Stadium on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary.
Speaking at the event, Rekha Gupta said that providing scholarships is an investment in the students' future and a significant step towards strengthening the youth.
She added that under the academic years 2023-24 and 2024-25, the scholarship amount has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of 1,709 students.
