New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday sent a message to the women, emphasizing that the time has come to prioritize their health, adding that when they keep well, the entire family and ultimately the nation will be empowered.

She said that in a country like India, even women belonging to well-off families commonly suffer from deficiencies in haemoglobin and vitamins.

Gupta was present at the AIIMS as part of 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar' campaign on Monday, where she encouraged everyone to adopt a balanced diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's National Nutrition Month, also encourages all to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
