New Delhi, Nov. 16 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday emphasised the pivotal role of women in shaping the nation and society, adding that if a daughter from an ordinary household can rise to the office of CM, then any woman can achieve the goal she dreams of.
Gupta, who was speaking at an event held at the Yamuna's Vasudev Ghat on recital of the "Mahishasura Mardini Stotram," said that women need to take step forward with determination and confidence and achieve their goals.
CM encouraged women to rise above their personal struggles and recognise their responsibilities, not only towards their families, but towards the nation as well.
