New Delhi, April 24 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday stated that in view of the rising temperatures, all schools in the national capital have been directed to submit a compliance report to the Directorate of Education by 2 May, in accordance with the India Meteorological Department's Heat Wave Action guidelines.
CM Gupta, taking to the social media platform X, shared, "Every school is being asked to ensure safe drinking water, designated nodal officers, and all necessary preventive measures for students."She added that parents have also been requested to send children in light cotton clothing, remain connected with class WhatsApp groups, and immediately report any concerns to the school administration.
