New Delhi, Nov. 23 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today announced that the state government has decided to declare a restricted holiday on November 25 (Tuesday), to mark the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

Ms Gupta said that the holiday will offer an opportunity to pay homage to the revered Sikh Guru's unparalleled sacrifice, his spiritual guidance, and unwavering commitment to the protection of humanity.

She stated that the holiday is not a mere formality, but a heartfelt tribute from the Delhi government to Guru Sahib's extraordinary sacrifice.

CM appealed to all citizens to observe this day with reverence, unity and a spirit of service, and to imbibe his teachings in their daily lives.
