New Delhi, Feb. 14 -- The Privilege Committee of the Delhi Legislative Assembly has directed the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Government of Punjab, the Director General of Police, Punjab, and the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, to submit their written replies by February 20, 2026, in connection with a privilege matter concerning alleged remarks made by AAP leader and Leader of Opposition Atishi.
The Committee has stated that the stipulated date will be treated as the last and final opportunity for furnishing the comments and materials sought. It warned that failure to comply within the prescribed time may be treated as a breach of privilege and contempt.
