New Delhi, Nov. 30 -- An international delegation comprising of Members of Parliament from various nations, former diplomats, defence and strategic affairs experts, including global media and civil society representatives paid a courtesy visit to the Delhi Legislative Assembly.
Welcoming the delegation, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta conducted a guided tour of the historic assembly complex for the international delegation, and highlighted that Delhi Assembly is a place where history inspires the future.
Gupta apprised the delegates of the Assembly's rich history, highlighting that the building originally served as the first parliament of the Central Legislative Assembly during the pre-independence era.
