Lucknow, April 12 -- Separate delegations met with Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh on Sunday to present their concerns.

During the meeting, employee-teacher organizations and traders submitted memorandums on various issues, to which the Defence Minister gave positive assurances.

The delegation from EPSEF, led by National President VP Mishra, included several officials, including Atul Mishra, Suresh Rawat, and Sanjay Shukla. They raised demands such as implementing the Eighth Pay Commission recommendations from January 1, 2026, restoring the old pension system, providing service security, and minimum wages to outsourced and contract employees.
