Srinagar, Oct. 2 -- Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Karra today said that the decision on the party's strategy for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in the union Territory will be taken by the central leadership.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) last week announced that polling for four the Rajya Sabha seats of Jammu and Kashmir that have been lying vacant since 2021 will be held on October 24.

Karra said that senior leader Digvijay Singh was appointed as an observer by the party for J&K few months back with a mandate to hold discussions on varied subjects, including possible political arrangements.
