Lucknow, Feb. 20 -- The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly witnessed a heated debate between the ruling party and the opposition over the state's rising debt, the Consolidated Fund, and the health system on Friday, the last day of the budget session.
Leader of the Opposition( LoP) and Samajwadi Party leader Mata Prasad Pandey cornered the government on issues of financial management and public services, to which Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna responded.
