Bengaluru, April 18 -- Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to field first against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL encounter at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.

Rajat Patidar, leading RCB, said he was happy to bat first on what looked like a good surface.

"I am happy because we wanted to bat first. We'll look to post a good total on the board. We have this (green) jersey to encourage. We are playing with the same side," Patidar said.

DC captain Axar Patel said he was comfortable bowling first and backed his side to chase at the Chinnaswamy. "I am going to bowl first. The wicket looks good and hard. Chinnaswamy is obviously a good chasing ground. Same XI," Axar said.
