Mumbai, May 8 -- A local court here today remanded underworld king Dawood Ibrahim associate and key member of a drug syndicate, Salim Dola, into judicial custody for 14 days after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) informed the court that they no more require his custody for questioning for his involvement in multiple drug cases which is under probe by the central agency.
Dola was detained in Istanbul in a joint operation by Turkiye's National Intelligence Organization and local police.
He was brought to Mumbai last month. He was produced before a local court here this afternoon in a heavy police bandobast.
While moving the remand application, NCB argued that interrogation of the accused is no more required hence he should not be further...
