Los Angeles, Aug. 8 -- Dave Bautista is on the verge of sealing a deal to portray the menacing immortal barbarian The Kurgen in the remake of the 1980s cult fantasy "Highlander".
The Amazon MGM's project is backed by the United Artists banner, it will reunite Bautista with genre spectacle on a grand scale, pitting him against Henry Cavill's Connor MacLeod and Russell Crowe's seasoned swordsman Ramirez, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
