Patna, March 19 -- Bihar Planning and Development Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav on Thursday said that accurate, reliable and timely data is crucial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Addressing the inaugural session of a two-day national capacity-building workshop on SDG monitoring framework, environmental accounting and gender statistics organised by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) in collaboration with Bihar Planning and Development Department, with technical support from the United Nations Development Programme, Yadav said the workshop is a significant step towards strengthening data-based governance and making policymaking more effective.
