Hyderabad, April 8 -- Cyient Semiconductors on Wednesday announced the successful completion of its USD 85 million majority-stake investment in global power semiconductor solutions provider Kinetic Technologies, marking a significant step in its strategy to build a globally competitive semiconductor platform from India.
With the investment, Kinetic Technologies joins Cyient Semiconductors as a revenue-generating global custom and Application-Specific Standard Product (ASSP) company, bringing more than 100 silicon-proven intellectual properties and over 250 high-volume custom and ASSP products across power management, protection, display power and interface solutions.
