Chennai, Oct. 27 -- With heavy rains lashing Chennai and its neighbouring districts, theCyclonic Storm 'Montha' moved closer and lay centred about 400 from the city, before enteringAndhra Pradesh after intensifying further and cross the coast tomorrow evening/night in theneighbouring State.
In a latest update tonight, the Met office said the Cyclonic Storm "Montha" (Pronunciation:Mon-Tha) over westcentral and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwardswith a speed of 13 kmph (earlier 10-12kmph) during the past 6 hours.
