Chennai, Feb. 26 -- With both the Low Pressure areas weakening, the presence of a Cyclonic circulation over the Bay promises to bring light rains to Western Ghat and South Coastal districts of Tamil Nadu till March 4.
In a rare phenomena, two weather systems had formed the Bay in a span of week, but both the Low Pressure areas have weakened after becoming Well Marked.
This was for the first time in 23 years a Low Pressure area has formed over Bay in the month of February. It was followed by another LP Area, but both have weakened after promising rains.
