Lucknow, Feb. 8 -- A one-day special training programme on Cyber and Forensic Sciences was organised at the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences (UPSIFS), Lucknow, for constables undergoing training from the 32nd and 35th PAC Battalions. Around 700 police personnel participated in the programme.

The Chief Guest, Additional Director General of Police (PAC) Dr. RK Swarnkar, emphasised that tracing evidence requires dedication and skilled training. He said that UPSIFS is the only such significant institute in North India and described it as a result of the visionary leadership of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
