Hyderabad, Oct. 13 -- The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police achieved a major breakthrough in September 2025, arresting 59 accused persons from eight states involved in various cyber offences and refunding Rs 86,64,827 to victims through prompt action and coordination with banks.

According to a police statement here today, the Cyber Crime Police Station, Hyderabad City, received 320 complaints via the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) during the month. Of these, 222 FIRs were registered at the city's Cyber Crime Police Station, and 106 FIRs were filed at zonal cyber cells.
