Patna, Sept. 24 -- The Congress Working Committee (CWC) today appealed to the voters of Bihar to protect democracy from what it called the "Vote Chor, Zameen Chor, and Rozgar Chor" government of the BJP-JD(U) alliance.
During CWC meeting here, the Congress in its resolution recalled its historic contributions to Bihar's progress, citing landmark projects such as Asia's largest rail yard at Garhara, the Sindri Fertilizer Factory, Barauni Refinery, Nabinagar Thermal Power Plant, Koshi River project, and33 sugar mills that once employed lakhs.
It also highlighted its role in abolishing the Zamindari system, expanding education, and building premier healthcare and higher education institutions.
