Itanagar, Jan. 30 -- The spirit of global theatre came alive in the heart of the Arunachal Pradesh capital on Friday as the 25th Bharat Rang Mahotsav (BRM) 2026 officially raised its curtains at the DK Hall of the state Assembly.
The landmark Silver Jubilee edition, organised by the National School of Drama (NSD) in partnership with the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, transforms Itanagar into a vibrant cultural hub for a four-day extravaganza running through January 30 to February 2.
The festival opened with the rhythmic energy of traditional 'Buya' folk artists, reminding the audience that while the festival is international, its soul remains deeply rooted in local heritage.
