Sangli (Maharashtra), Aug. 23 -- Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil has said that to prevent drug addition, a major campaign is being run in the district, including anti-drug pledge to students during school hours.
Patil is also the district guardian minister. He was speaking at a 'Nashamukti Abhiyan Pratigya' programme organized by Na Maharashtra Shikshan Sanstha and Akuj Charitable trust Kupwada.
The minister said if a no-drug culture is instilled in children, the future generation will be saved from the drug menace.
