Hyderabad, April 8 -- Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said corporate spending on social initiatives should be viewed as a partnership in societal development rather than merely as expenditure.

Addressing representatives of various corporate firms during a meeting on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds here, the Chief Minister said CSR expenditure should yield maximum social benefit and deliver meaningful outcomes.

He said the state government is giving priority to education, healthcare and conservation of water resources, and invited companies to utilise CSR funds in these or other sectors of their choice.
