Palampur, Feb. 27 -- Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur, organised a one-day training programme on 'Organic and Natural Farming' for farmers of Kangra district.
The programme was sponsored by the Regional Centre for Organic & Natural Farming (RCNOF), Ghaziabad, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India.
More than 50 farmers from Bhawarana, Panchrukhi and Palampur blocks participated in the training.
The training was inaugurated by Dr Janardan Singh, Head, Department of Organic Agriculture and Natural Farming, who highlighted the importance of livestock-based resources and scientifically developed natural farming practices for sustainable production.
