Hyderabad, Feb. 23 -- : In a move aimed at strengthening India's skilled workforce in renewable energy, the CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI) here on Monday inaugurated a specialised training programme on geothermal energy exploration under the CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiative.

The programme, titled "Geosciences for Geothermal Energy Exploration (G2E2)", is being conducted from February 23 to 28, 2026, and focuses on equipping participants with advanced technical expertise in geothermal resource assessment.
