Hyderabad, Feb. 23 -- CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Uppal Road, on Monday inaugurated a specialised training programme titled "Geosciences for Geothermal Energy Exploration (G2E2)" under the CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiative, aimed at strengthening India's skilled workforce in the geothermal energy sector.
Inaugurating the programme, scheduled from February 23 to 28, 2026, CSIR-NGRI Director Prakash Kumar said it was a matter of pride for the institute to organise, for the first time, a dedicated training programme exclusively focused on geothermal energy exploration.
