Thiruvananthapuram, March 12 -- Senior Congress leader and former Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Thursday alleged that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) had insulted and sidelined veteran leader G. Sudhakaran, describing the treatment meted out to the senior Communist as a "grave injustice".
Talking to newspersons here, Chennithala said Sudhakaran, who had dedicated more than five decades of selfless service to the party, was now being humiliated and pushed out by the CPI(M).
He noted that he had known Sudhakaran personally since their student days, recalling that both had participated together in several speech competitions and public programmes during that period.
