Thiruvananthapuram, March 15 -- The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M)) on Sunday announced its list of candidates for the upcoming Kerala Assembly election, naming nominees for the majority of the constituencies it will contest as part of the state's ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF).

The party is set to contest 86 seats in the Assembly elections, indicating a strategy that largely relies on experienced legislators while introducing changes in a few constituencies.
