Hyderabad, March 20 -- Communist Party of India (Marxist) Telangana Secretary John Wesley on Thursday urged the state government to address the long-standing demands of Anganwadi and ASHA workers, including wage hike, job security, provident fund (PF), employee state insurance (ESI), pension, insurance, voluntary retirement scheme (VRS), and retirement benefits.

In a statement here, Wesley stated that despite staging multiple protests to highlight their concerns, the workers' issues remain unresolved, even though the state government had repeatedly assured solutions.

The CPI(M) Telangana State Committee is demanding immediate action to resolve their justifiable demands.
