Dharamshala, March 7 -- A court employee was allegedly assaulted and government records were damaged after a group of unidentified persons entered the premises of the Additional District and Sessions Court in Palampur late at night, police said on Friday.
Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Ratan told UNI that the incident occurred on March 5 when Sachin Verma, a resident of Khadot village under Ballah post office in Palampur tehsil of Kangra district, was on official duty inside the court complex.
He said that around 10-12 unidentified individuals reportedly entered the court premises and began tampering with and tearing government records and files kept there and when Verma attempted to stop them, the group allegedly assaulte...
