Nashik, April 3 -- The District and Sessions court in Nashik has sentenced a 20-year-old man to 20 years' rigorous imprisonment for unnatural sexual torture of a minor boy in the Dhatrak Phata area of Adgaon locality in Nashik.
A fine of Rs 50,000 has also been imposed on the man.
The District and Sessions Court has also ordered that Rs 25,000 be paid to the victim out of this fine.
The sentenced man, Rohit Sanjay Pawar, 20, is resident of Behind Nishant Garden, Dhatrak Phata, Panchvati. The incident took place on April 27, 2023 between 6 and 8:30 pm.
