Mumbai, Jan. 27 -- A local Bandra court here on Tuesday rejected the bail application of actor and filmmaker Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, who is facing charges in a firing incident that occurred in a residential complex of Andheri area of Mumbai suburb.
He was produced in the local court after the expiry of his police custody today .
After perusing the remand application for further police custody, the court remanded him to Judicial custody for two weeks time.
Advocate Sana Rais Khan appearing for KRK denied the charges levelled against the actor, saying that the weapon seized has a range of only 20 meters while the bullet was recovered from a distance of 400 mts, hence the allegations are baseless.
