Akola, April 1 -- A 54-year-old Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) has been suspended after allegations surfaced that he sought sexual favours from the daughter of a woman who was in police custody, officials said on Wednesday.
The incident reportedly occurred at a police station where the woman had been detained in connection with a case.
During this period, the ASI is accused of asking the woman to send her daughter to him, allegedly offering money in exchange for sexual favours.
