Patna, May 13 -- Bihar Cooperative Minister Prem Kumar on Tuesday announced the state government would open Cooperative Banks in 144 blocks of 15 districts in the state.
Kumar told media persons here that permission from reserve Bank of India (RBI) had been sought by the Bihar Government for opening Cooperative Banks in 144 blocks of 15 districts in the state. Once permission was granted by RBI, process of opening Cooperative Banks would begin, he added.
