Lucknow/Agra, March 18 -- A fresh controversy has emerged in Uttar Pradesh over the use of the word "Pandit" in an examination paper, even before an earlier dispute on a similar issue could settle.

The latest incident comes from Agra, where a Class 7 Sanskrit exam conducted in a council-run school included a question that has drawn strong objections. The question, based on a riddle Prehlika, asked: "Who travels far without feet and is literate but not a Pandit?" The options provided were cloud, bird, air, and letter.
