Bokaro, Dec. 30 -- A contract worker of Bokaro Steel Limited allegedly died by suicide after jumping into a cooling pond at the steel plant premises in Bokaro district. The body was recovered on Tuesday with the help of divers, police said.
According to Harla police, the deceased has been identified as Harishankar Pandey, a resident of Sector-4 (G), Bokaro, who was working as a contract labourer with BSL. The incident reportedly occurred on Monday evening when Pandey jumped into the cooling pond.
