Conspiracy to remove tribal, dalit & minorities in the name of voter list revision: CPI
Patna, June 26 -- The Communist Party of India (CPI) alleged that the Election Commission of India (ECI) was conspiring to remove the names of tribal, dalit and minority voters from the list in the name of special voter list revision campaign in Bihar.
State secretary of CPI Ramnaresh Pandey told media here today that the commission was planning to remove the names of the class from the list with a mission to manipulate the election.
Demanding to immediately stop the revision campaign, Pandey said the last intensive revision in Bihar was conducted by the ECI considering January 01, 2003 as the eligibility date.
