RaviNew Delhi, Jan. 26 -- : The central government has released the list of 33 questions to be asked of citizens during the first phase of the upcoming census, which will begin on April 1.
In this phase, a household listing will be conducted, with each state and union Territory allotted a 30-day period to carry out the exercise.
Before finalising the details of the caste enumeration process, the Congress on Monday demanded that the government immediately initiate consultations with political parties, state governments, and citizen organisations.
