Ranchi, Jan. 28 -- The Congress has taken a progressive step towards strengthening social justice, inclusivity, and constitutional values by deciding to include representatives of SC, ST, OBC, and Minority communities in the state-level election decision-making process, the party's media unit Chairman Satish Paul Munjani said on Wednesday.
Munjani said that the State Presidents of the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Minority Departments will now be included as Special Invitee Members in the Pradesh Election Committee (PEC) during state elections. He described the move as a landmark decision in the direction of inclusive politics and real social representation.
