Agartala, Feb. 9 -- The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) announced plans to hold a Raj Bhavan march on February 16, during which a memorandum will be submitted to the Governor to emphasise the need to protect and strengthen the MGNREGA scheme.

TPCC president Ashish Kumar Saha said this campaign aligns with the All India Congress Committee's 45-day nationwide struggle to save MGNREGA, which commenced on January 10, and emphasised the active participation of Tripura Pradesh Congress in protest programs across the state.

Saha also shared that successful district-level programs were held on February 6, with mass deputations submitted to district magistrates in nearly every district except West Tripura.
