Chandigarh, April 17 -- The Congress party has kick-started its strategic planning for the upcoming Punjab assembly elections with a series of high-level meetings in Delhi.

Presided over by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Punjab in-charge and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, the two-day deliberations saw the participation of senior Congress Working Committee (CWC) members.

Addressing the media, Baghel emphasized that the party's primary criterion for ticket distribution will be the "winnability" of the candidate, which will be determined through extensive internal surveys and ground assessments.
