Congress MLC Satej Patil appointed to party's national political affairs committee

Kolhapur, July 31 -- Kolhapur district Congress president MLC Satej Patil, who is also Congress party's group leader in the state legislature council, has been appointed to the party's national political affairs committee.

As per an announcement by Congress chief secretary K C Venugopal, Mr Patil, who is also a member of the state working committee, has been appointed to the national political affairs committee of the Congress along with Harshvardhan Sapkal, Mukul Wasnik, Avinash Pandey, Vijay Wadetyiwar.

Meanwhile, three Congress leaders from the district, including Surykant Patil, Buddhihalkar, Shashank Bavachkar and Taufiq Mullani, have been appointed as state Congress general secretary.
