Congress has proved it can't act responsibly in the country's interest under any situation: PM Modi

Guwahati, March 13 -- Accusing the Congress of "misleading" the people about the increase in LPG prices in the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in West Asia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the opposition party has proved that it cannot act responsibly in the country's interests under any situation.

"On the one hand, the BJP-NDA government is working to protect the interests of farmers. But the Congress has proved that it cannot work responsibly in the country's interest in any situation. Even now, at a time of war, the Congress is indulging in spreading rumours and misleading the nation," Modi said at a programme here in Assembly poll-bound Assam.
